This 4-hour course teaches students how to recognize a thoracic intrusion injury and steps to take to quickly stabilize the injury. We will cover: - both clinically proven and field expedient bandaging solutions - monitoring for sucking chest wounds - monitoring and preventing shock - stabilizing the patient for extraction.
