Pre Assault Preparation

How we live everyday, interact with our environment and the individuals that transition though it can often determine our needs to utilize defensive measures. Simply stated, awareness can prevent violent conflict. At STG we teach our students to think ouside the gun. Awareness, avoidance and deconfliction can often be the key to non-violent conflict resolution. If the fight is imminent, then survival is paramount but we can help win your encounter by proper environmental management.

Corporate Level Training

Interested in safety training for your business? We offer small group instruction as well as classes tailored to suit the needs of your seminars or in service training. We are equipped to address work place violence, stress/anger management and aggression de- escalation techniques designed to help you provide a safer work environment for your employees.

Long Range Hunter

The STG Long Range Hunter course is designed specifically for hunters and those wanting to learn more about long range shooting. The 2 Day course will cover ammo & caliber selection, firearms data collection, rifle & equipment maintenance, shooting positions, and range fire out to 700 yards. If you would like to improve your rifle skills and be more prepared for hunting season, please join us at Wild Acres located in western Pennsylvania.

Women's Defensive Pistol

This course is designed to help establish best practices and shooter-interface for women who plan to carry a concealed firearm. No experience is necessary, but a concealed firearms license is recommended. This is a basic course, but all skill levels are welcome as this is the basis for solid shooter performance.

Tactical Carbine

Tactical Carbine 1 is a course designed for new and intermediate shooters to develop proficiency with the AR platform. It is instructed in a stress free, information driven environment to enhance your confidence in using this rifle recreationally or defensively. This course is a prerequisite for Tactical Carbine 2

Requirements:
A serviceable AR platform rifle, 300 rounds of ammunition, minimum of three 30 round magazines, magazine pouches (either belt mounted or vest mounted), rifle sling, hearing/eye protection, pistol with outside-the-waistband holster, 50 rounds of pistol ammunition, and water/sport drinks. Additional Gear: (not mandatory, but will make the class more enjoyable) lunch/snacks, sun screen, insect repellent, gloves, hat, long sleeve shirt, rain gear, sunglasses, notepad and writing instrument.

Tactical Carbine 2

If you own a black rifle and question your capabilities with it, don’t you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to learn the basic defensive tactics and techniques this rifle can provide? Advanced Carbine challenges shooters with multi-target engagements, non-standard firing positions, transitions upon failure, partner and team tactics. This course is about seamlessly integrating the weapon system into a critical incident as a force multiplier. Understanding this weapon system and its capabilities -Trouble Shooting, Gear Selection/Placement, Confirming Battle Zero for Iron Sights and Optics, Advanced Firing Positions, Malfunction Management, Close Contact and Mid-Range Target Engagement, Movement Shooting and Multi-Target Engagement, Clearing Close Structures, Barricade Support Usage and much more.

Requirements:
Prerequisites: Tactical Carbine 1 or US Military Combat Arms MOS/LEO Patrol Rifle Officer qualifications.

Pistol - Carbine

Pistol - Carbine is a course designed for the development of proficiency with the AR platform and it’s use in conjunction with a handgun. It is designed to enhance your confidence in using this rifle recreationally or defensively. Whether you are a competitive shooter, law enforcement professional or legally armed civilian, the use of a firearm brings with it certain liabilities that can best be mitigated through proper decision making and accuracy upon deployment. Our Combat Pistol course provides you with the tools to protect yourself and loved ones during a critical incident.

Requirements:
A serviceable AR platform rifle, 300 rounds of ammunition, minimum of three 30 round magazines, rifle magazine pouches (either belt mounted or vest mounted), rifle sling, hearing/eye protection, pistol with outside-the-waistband holster, total of three pistol magazines and a belt holder for two of the magazines, 100 rounds of pistol ammunition, and water/sport drinks.

Combat Pistol

Winning a gunfight is only partially about shooting. The ability to stay calm, problem solve and apply proper tactics are all necessary to successfully negotiate critical incidents. Our combat pistol course not only helps you refine your pistolcraft through basic skills development, but also focuses on critical thinking. Sierra trainers will guide shooters through a fun, interactive experience where shooters can try new skills, drills, and scenarios.

Advanced American Carbine

The sequel to Basic American Carbine, AAC challenges shooters with: multi-target engagements, non-standard firing positions, transitions upon failure, off-shoulder work, partner and team tactics. This course is about seamlessly integrating the weapon system into a critical incident as a force multiplier.

Vehicle Close Quarters Battle

Vehicle CQB is an accelerated shooting class focused on positional shooting and a critical look at how we have historically fought in and around vehicle. Students will push boundaries of “traditional” cover and concealment utilizing various cars and trucks in a true 3D environment. Drills will incorporate critical weapon employment while engaging threats in, around, from, over and under vehicles with a heavy emphasis on problem solving. Live ballistic demos with a variety of ammunition will be conducted as the class explores ballistic deflection, deformation, penetration and terminal effect in direct correlation to various vehicle mediums. This is a long day with lots of information covered, so come prepared. This is a Centrifuge Training LLC authorized class.

Materials: Included Prerequisites: - U.S. Citizen. - Able to legally carry a firearm. - Able to demonstrate and employ safe weapons handling during courses of fire. - Previous intermediate to advanced firearms training to include courses of fire where movement, barricades, working around others, communicating and adverse shooting positions were addressed.
